Keramzit is an industrially processed granular clay with a smooth surface. It is obtained from a special type of clay by high temperature production in special rotary kilns. Due to its decorative and chemical properties it is widely used.

It works very well to cover the soil in pots, boxes or on the surface of the beds. It is very suitable as a growing medium in hydroponics or as a drainage layer in growing vessels. Thanks to its special features, it is greatly suited as a material for green roofs. It is also used in arranging flowers.
